Nashville Lawn & Garden Show
February 28th - March 4th, 2019

Every year since 1987, the Master Gardeners of Davidson County have participated in the Nashville Lawn and Garden Show held at The Fairgrounds Nashville.

2019's theme is CHANGING TIMES, CHANGING GARDENS.

Produced by the Nashville Lawn and Garden Foundation, the Nashville Lawn and Garden Show offers a wide variety of exhibitors and vendors at its marketplace, free lectures (including some by Master Gardeners),  and more to nearly 20,000 visitors each year.

The Master Gardeners of Davidson County will greet you with programs at the entrance and encourage you to find your way to our booth among the many garden displays.

Join Davidson County President, Alisa Huntsman  Friday March 1st at 3:00p.m.  on the topic - ‘Getting Started in the Garden’

How to build a vegetable garden and avoid the common mistakes most first time gardeners make. From analyzing your yard for the light and drainage, to building a bed.  The discussion will also touch on how to build soil, composting, understanding plant needs and companion planting.  You too can have a bountiful harvest.  Info for beginners and experienced alike.  Q & A welcome!  mgofdc.org
