Not since World War II has there failed to be a Tennessee State Fair held in Nashville, but, due to health concerns imposed by COVID-19, the more than 150-year-old event this year is being shuttered, although Fair officials note that plans are still in the making for some activities to be open for the public’s participation.
The Tennessee State Fair has attracted people to Nashville to enjoy entertainment, food, and livestock events for more than 109 years and in 2018 more than 101,000 visitors over ten days.
In 2019 the Master Gardeners of Davidson County invited you to experience how you can make your own "Square Foot Garden". Our gardens will be 4' x 4', but yours can be as big as you want the garden to be, depending on the size of the location. Make sure it gets plenty of sun. We will give you additional information they plants you might consider. This is the fall, so there are several fall vegetables you can try.
