Pruning Ornamental Shrubs - February 1, 2023 Noon - 1 pm pst/2-3 central
https://us06web.zoom.us/.../reg.../WN_JVwJFB1aRaGu6zzqZvhXqg
DESCRIPTION:
Do your shrubs meet your expectations? Or are they a congested, overgrown mess that are cringe-worthy? This class simplifies shrub pruning with step-by-step instructions on how to tackle common problems. We will address how to reshape shrubs into pleasing forms of abundant flowers and beautiful foliage. Seasoned gardeners make cuts for the right reason, at the right time, in the right location of the plant. This class will discuss each aspect and offer solutions based on horticultural science. You will learn how to effectively use pruning cuts to achieve the result you want while minimizing damage to your shrub. Our speaker Sherry Sheng is an Oregon State University Extension Master Gardener who leads and teaches for the award-winning 10-Minute University™ Program. She began teaching gardening classes in 2006 and has many instructional videos to her credit. Sherry gardens at home and at a community garden plot.
